Chelsea is a company director of Stanstrong along with business partner
and producer Desray Armstrong. Between them they have 10 years production experience ranging from documentary, TV series and recently film. Chelsea has acquired many skills through the various productions she has been involved in but her passion remains with directing. Her journey began at Kiwa media in 2003 the majority of projects were Documentaries and TV Series. Programmes included Kete Aronui, Kaitiaki, Tame Iti: Man Behind the Moko, Butt Why? Her film experience includes co-producer of the short film Patu Ihu in 2007 through the New Zealand Film Commission´s short film fund, under the guidance of Producer Angela Littlejohn. She also worked on the feature film Show of Hands in Taranaki. In 2008 Chelsea field produced a documentary for the european broadcaster ARTE with production company System TV in France. She also attended the Berlinale Talent campus Germany, in February 2008 where she began an international interest in feature films.
